Rockford Systems announces 2017 schedule for machine safeguarding seminars

Rockford Systems, a provider of machine-safeguarding products and services in Rockford, Ill., has announced the 2017 scheduling of its machine safeguarding seminars.

The three-day seminars foster greater understanding of current OSHA and ANSI safety standards, while familiarizing participants with application-specific equipment through classroom discussion and hands-on demonstrations of machines under power. They also provide a forum for industry safety professionals to exchange views on safeguarding techniques, such as the incorporation of ergonomics into production and operations.

The 2017 schedule for these seminars, held at the company’s Rockford headquarters, is:

  • First quarter: Jan. 17-19, Feb. 21-23, and March 21-23.
  • Second quarter: April 18-20, May 16-18, and June 20-22.
  • Third quarter: July 18-20, Aug. 22-24, and Sept. 19-21.
  • Fourth quarter: Oct. 17-19 and Nov. 14-16

Roger Harrison, an industrial safeguarding expert with more than 25,000 hours of training experience, leads the seminar. Harrison is an author and regular speaker for FABTECH and PMA.
