Accelity Group acquires Mid Valley Industries
Accelity Group, a Milwaukee-based group of business owner-operators, has partnered with Gardner Standard, a Minneapolis-based investment firm, and Kevin Schmid, original business founder, to acquire Mid Valley Industries LLC (MVI), Kaukauna, Wis.
MVI, a provider of large-scale, complex machining and fabrication services, was acquired by a private equity firm in 2008 that filed for receivership in early 2015. Schmid saw this as an opportunity to return to the company he founded.
Members of the Accelity Group of companies include Super Steel, The Jor-Mac Co., Empire Coatings, Tower Machining, and Tower Power Solutions.
