Airgas to build air separation unit production facility in North Carolina
Radnor, Pa.-based Airgas USA LLC, an Air Liquide company, has announced plans to build an air separation unit in Mebane, N.C. The company reports that the facility will increase the company’s production capabilities while strengthening its East Coast merchant gases network.
Expected to open in 2019, the facility will produce oxygen, nitrogen, and argon for use in customer applications such as metal fabrication, blanketing and purging, combustion, chilling, and freezing.
