Atco opens plant in Idaho

Atco, based in Alberta, Canada, has opened a new plant in Pocatello, Idaho, creating 190 jobs. The plant builds modular workforce housing units to be shipped to oil and mining sites worldwide.

"We expect to complete three units per day, once we are up and fully running," said David Cook, plant manager. "Ninety percent of the supplies we use come from companies in Idaho."
