AT&F upgrades equipment

AT&F, a custom steel fabricator in Cleveland, has made upgrades to one of its large rolling systems. Improvements include a new leveling system, PLC upgrade, new gearbox, and electrical panel upgrade. The leveling system is designed to improve accuracy, while the gearbox handle more torque without sacrificing speed. The PLC and electrical panel aid in troubleshooting and planned maintenance improvements with a more efficient design.

The company also recently completed the installation of what it says is the largest roll in the Western Hemisphere; a third robotic contour beveling laser; a 59-ft., single-ram press brake; large plate-blasting machine; and a CNC horizontal boring mill.
