BAE Systems completes manufacturing center in Texas
BAE Systems, a global defense, aerospace, and security company, has completed construction of its new manufacturing center in Austin, Texas.
The new facility produces technologies for the company's electronic systems sector, including circuit-card assemblies for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System and Laser Target Locator Module. It also produces advanced network communication systems, precision landing systems, and thermal imaging systems.
The company currently employs about 525 people in Austin.
