Boeing selects Aircelle to supply titanium exhaust for 777X jetliner engines

Nacelle manufacturer Aircelle (Safran), Le Havre, France, will produce titanium exhaust systems for the new 777X commercial jetliner.

The exhaust systems will equip the jetliner’s two GE9X turbofan engines from GE Aviation, providing the benefits of lower mass and increased heat resistance. The exhaust system includes acoustically treated areas for reduced noise level as well.
