Boeing to close Witchita plant
The Boeing Co. has announced plans to close its Witchita, Kan., defense plant by the end of 2013.
The facility's work will move to the company's facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, and Washington, eliminating 2,100 jobs in Witchita.
