Briggs & Stratton named Manufacturer of the Year by EETC

Briggs & Stratton, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of gasoline engines for outdoor power equipment, has been named Manufacturer of the Year by the Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC), a nonprofit association of industry professionals that works to train and educate technicians in the outdoor power equipment industry.

EETC presented the award to Briggs & Stratton for its support of the EETC through ongoing membership, educational efforts, and dealer engagement. The firm provides technicians with annual updates on new product innovations and service-related topics; offers hands-on training curriculum and online training; and provides vocational instructors at high schools, tech colleges, and universities with curriculum to teach small-engine classes.
