Cardinal Metalworks achieves ISO 9001:2015 registration

Cardinal Metalworks Inc., a manufacturer of precision fabricated sheet metal components in Burgaw, N.C., has achieved registration to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.

ISO 9001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system Organizations that meet the standard consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. The 9001:2015 version of the standard ensures that organizations adapt to today’s changing business environment.

Registration to the standard helps organizations ensure their customers receive high-quality products and services on a consistent basis.

Larry Issacson, Cardinal Metalworks’ general manager, said he sees his company as one of the few manufacturing organizations to have achieved the registration to the new standard. He also noted that employees achieved the accomplishment well in advance of the 2017 deadline.
