Coast Composites and Odyssey Industries add machining capabilities

Coast Composites and Odyssey Industries, members of the AIP Aerospace Tooling Group, have announced the installation of Parpas XS milling machines at their facilities.

Coast Composites, Santa Ana, Calif., took delivery of an XS high-velocity, 5-axis milling machine manufactured by Parpas America Corp. The machine adds capacity to the company’s machining capability for manufacturing molds from Invar, aluminum, steel, and carbon composites. The same machine also has been installed at the Odyssey Tooling Inc. facility, Lake Orion, Mich.
