Comau receives Volvo Quality Excellence Award

Comau has received the Volvo Quality Excellence Award from Volvo Car Corp. for an industrial project undertaken five years ago that is still in full development.

The project is related to the provisioning of production facilities for the XC90, S90, and V90 cars, in which Comau developed the commodities framing using its geometric transportation system VersaPallet. The technological core of the plant is a framing station in which 10 robots simultaneously assemble the body of the three different models.
