EFD Induction hires global sales director

Induction technology provider EFD Induction, Skien, Norway, has hired Vernon Perkins as global sales director for induction power systems to OEMs and integrators. He previously served as managing director at Ambrell before being named the company’s director of business development for Europe and the Middle East.

Perkins, who holds an MBA, has decades of experience working at the managerial level in the international industrial heating industry. He is based in the U.K.
