Fabrico acquires Johnson Tool & Mfg.

Contract manufacturer and engineering services provider Fabrico Inc., Oxford, Mass., has acquired Johnson Tool & Mfg., Inc., Charlton, Mass., which specializes in the short- to medium-run manufacture of high-tolerance components, assemblies, tools, and gauges.

The acquisition adds precision machining, prototyping, wire EDM, grinding, and CNC milling and turning to Fabrico's contract metal manufacturing capabilities.

Johnson personnel and equipment remain at the Charlton location, and the facility is run by the owner's son, Ray Johnson.
