Germantown Tool & Machine adds two robotic GMAW systems

Germantown Tool & Machine Inc., Huntingdon Valley, Pa., has acquired two robotic welding systems to add to its GMAW capabilities.

The Fanuc M-16iB20 six-axis robots with R-J3iC controls are equipped with Lincoln PowerWave® 455M power sources. Capacities include a 65-in. reach and up to 8-ft. linear weld path. Payload is 35 lbs., and repeatability is ±0.004 in. With the additions, the company has seven operating robotic welding cells.
