DHA Filter makes dust cartridges pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Jacksonville, Fla.-based DHA Filter has announced it will partner with Komen North Florida to spread breast cancer awareness to the U.S. manufacturing community. For the month of October, the company will replace its blue helix pleat stabilizers — which lock the pleats of the dust cartridge — with pink. A portion of the sales of the pink dust cartridges will benefit the North Florida affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Funds raised by the sale of the pink dust cartridges will be used to award grants to local hospitals and clinics that provide free mammograms, biopsies, education materials, genetic testing, and transportation assistance to disadvantaged residents in the five-county north Florida area.
