Heidenhain launches North American web portal

Heidenhain Corp., Schaumburg, Ill., has launched a redesigned web portal at www.heidenhain.us. Industries and applications categorized specifically on the web portal include machine tool, semiconductor, automation, metrology, electronics, and medical.

The product line includes linear scales, rotary and angular encoders, digital readouts, digital length gauges, CNCs, and machine inspection equipment for positioning tasks.

The site features product pages, application stories, and a resources and news section. Motion control component sister companies owned by parent company Dr. Johannes Heidenhain GmbH also are listed within the North American web portal, including detailed information from Etel about direct-drive motors and motion systems.
