Hino Motors announces expansion of West Virginia plant

Toyota subsidiary Hino Motors has announced plans to add 30,000 sq. ft. to its 200,000-sq.-ft. Williamstown, W.Va., truck assembly facility.

The $8 million expansion, slated for completion in fall 2015, will add a dedicated training facility and a quality control testing center. The project is expected to create 50 full-time jobs; the plant currently employs 225 workers.
