Karlee marks 40th year in business

Garland, Texas-based contract manufacturer Karlee will celebrate its 40th anniversary with an open house on June 13. Past and present team members, customers, suppliers, and the business community are invited to attend.

The event begins with lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and an evening reception will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Founded in 1974 by Lee Brumit, the company began as a one-person operation performing precision machining out of a garage, supporting a sole customer. Today the company has 250,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space in three locations and more than 400 employees, as well as multiple other support businesses.
