Meritor donates $5,000 to Hurricane Matthew relief efforts in North Carolina

Meritor Inc., Troy, Mich., a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket systems for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, has announced its donation of $5,000 to help with relief efforts in southeastern North Carolina, where many people were left homeless from Hurricane Matthew.

The company's contribution from the Meritor Trust Fund to Union Chapel Harvest Ministries supports efforts by the American Red Cross to assist hundreds of residents housed temporarily in shelters in Maxton, Rowland, and St. Pauls.
