Meritor earns Top 20 Product Award from Heavy Duty Trucking magazine
Troy, Mich.-based Meritor® Inc., a global supplier of drivetrain, mobility, braking, and aftermarket systems for commercial vehicle and industrial markets, has earned Heavy Duty Trucking (HDT) magazine's 2015 Top 20 Product Award for its P600 series heavy-haul planetary axles. The award honors the most innovative and significant new products that address industry issues and help fleets improve their bottom line, according to Deborah Lockridge, HDT editor.
The axles, engineered for global heavy-haul, oilfield, logging, and mining applications, are available in tandem and tridem configurations. They are engineered and manufactured with ratings up to 42,000 lbs. per axle. The P610 and P614 axles offer a choice of ratios to help deliver the required gearing, power, and torque without sacrificing payload capacity or efficiency.
