MNI launches online industrial marketplace

MNI, Evanston, Ill., a compiler of manufacturing data, has announced the launch of IndustryNet®, http://industrynet.com, an online industrial marketplace that connects industrial buyers and suppliers.

More than 420,000 suppliers selling products and services across the entire supply chain currently are listed on the site. Suppliers receive unique listing pages to promote their products and services with cover art and company logos; social media, web, and email links; company videos; catalogs; and photos. They also receive business resources, bringing together all aspects of industrial marketing, sourcing, prospecting, site selection, and research.

Industrial buyers can set up a free account, create a list of potential suppliers from more than 10,000 product and service categories, request competitive quotes, and upload specifications. In addition to searching by product or service and location, buyers can find suppliers by company type, ISO certifications, type of ownership, and areas of distribution.

Other features of the redesigned site include a news release section, a tradeshow board, an expansion and relocation guide, a used machinery section, and a job board.
