MSI sells Machinery Tooling & Supply division to DXP Enterprises

Machinery Systems Inc. (MSI), Schaumburg, Ill., has announced the sale of its Machinery Tooling & Supply company to DXP Enterprises Inc., a Houston-based industrial distributor of technical products and services for MRO, OEM, and capital equipment customers.

DXP has more than 178 locations throughout North America and Dubai, including seven regional distribution centers, 58 supply chain service locations, and eight fabrication centers.

Machinery Tooling & Supply continues to operate under the leadership of Robert (Bob) Cuthbertson, president, and under its own distinct brand identity. It maintains its facilities in Schaumburg, Ill., and Brookfield, Wis., but likely will relocate to larger facilities in the future based on anticipated growth. The company offers cutting tools and industrial supplies, including MRO, health and safety products, and inventory management systems.
