NAM study outlines excessive labor regulations

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Washington, D.C., has released a study that outlines the effect of the Obama Administration’s labor regulatory agenda on manufacturers.

According to NAM, regulations on issues such as contractor blacklisting, employee overtime, silica, union elections, and injury and illness reporting will result in 411 million hours of paperwork, create more than $80 billion in compliance costs, and eliminate 155,700 jobs over the next 10 years.
