Nissan constructing engine manufacturing facility in Tennessee

Nissan has begun construction on an expansion at its Decherd, Tenn., power train assembly facility.

Starting in 2014, the new plant will begin production of 4-cylinder gasoline engines for Infiniti and Mercedes-Benz automobiles, making 250,000 units annually. The expansion is expected to create 400 jobs.
