Sciaky joins Siemens PLM software partner program
Chicago-based Sciaky Inc., a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries Inc. and provider of metal additive manufacturing (AM) systems, has announced it will adopt product lifecycle management (PLM) software technology from Siemens to support its Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM®) system.
As part of the partnership, Sciaky will use multiaxis deposition technology within Siemens’ NX™ CAD/CAM/CAE software and NX Nastran® CAE software to support its 3-D metal printing systems.
