Texas ProFab Corp. names new president

Texas ProFab Corp., Carrollton, Texas, has named Vivek Gupta as president. For the past nine years he served as managing director, overseeing the company's manufacturing operations.

Gupta earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 and an MBA from the same school in 2007. He also sits on the board of directors for the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association Intl., Rockford, Ill.

Texas ProFab is a precision sheet metal fabricator and finisher. The company offers fully automated laser cutting and forming, punching, machining, and welding capabilities. It also has in-house liquid finishing, powder coating, and silk screening services.
