Zarges closes Amarillo plant
German company Zarges has closed its plant in Amarillo, Texas, after two years of producing the metal interiors of wind turbine towers. The company cites the economy and uncertainty over governmental production tax credits to wind companies as reasons for the closure.
The company employed 10 to 15 people.
