Aro Metal Stamping certified as Women’s Business Enterprise

Aro Metal Stamping Inc., Roselle, Ill., a metal stampings and assemblies business, has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center - Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC’s national standard of certification includes an in-depth review of the business and a site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.

Erica Wiegel, president, purchased the company in 2015 after serving more than 13 years at Wiegel Tool Works Inc., Wood Dale, Ill. In addition to being woman-owned, the company employs a workforce that is 50 percent female.
