Chicago Slitter hires sales executive

Chicago Slitter, a manufacturer of custom-built, heavy-duty coil slitting, blanking, and cut-to-length lines in Itasca, Ill., has named Phil Simonpietri as sales executive.

He has years of experience in automation and high-speed production equipment, as well as sales experience in various markets. He worked previously with MAE-Eitel selling specialty presses and Automated Manufacturing Solutions selling custom automation for machine loading, discrete part processing, and assembly/manufacturing.

Simonpietri holds degrees from the College of William & Mary and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
