Dayton Progress merges with Anchor Lamina

February 17, 2014

Dayton Progress, Dayton Ohio, and Anchor Lamina, Farmington Hills, Mich., have announced their merger into a new, combined company called DAYTON Lamina Corporation™. The president of the new company is Alan Shaffer, current president of Dayton Progress.

The two die component makers were acquired by Misumi Group Inc. in November 2012.

All DAYTON Lamina™ products will be represented by the Dayton regional sales managers. A new website has been launched at www.daytonlamina.com featuring a distributor locator, as well as product and technical information. A companywide phone system will be installed and the Anchor Lamina enterprise system converted to that of Dayton. This will enable a single customer service department and a single point of quoting.

All merger activities are planned to be completed by Oct. 1, 2014.
