Manor acquires 33-ton turret press

Metal stamping company Manor Tool & Mfg. Co., Schiller Park, Ill., has added a 33-ton Finn-Power C5 Express turret press. The press, which is suitable for initial low-volume runs, development-volume runs, or prototyping, allows customers to develop parts before investing in hard tooling for large-volume runs, reports the company.

The press features an auto loader, robotic pickup sheets and loads, and remote programming. Fully networked, it allows engineers to develop processes from drawings using NC Express Cam software that generates the G-code for tool paths that are sent to the machine for manufacturing.
