QualiChem completes expansion in Virginia

QualiChem, a manufacturer of metalworking fluids and water treatment chemicals, has completed a major expansion of its headquarters, laboratory, and manufacturing facilities in Salem, Va.

The expansion has increased the company's total square footage by 70 percent. The building has 35 percent more space for quality control, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing and 50 percent more space for raw material and finished goods, plus a 233 percent increase for shipping and receiving. The company also has added a 45-seat training and conference center.
