Vision Engineering targets expansion into Mexico with staff appointments

With a strategic emphasis on business expansion into Mexico, Vision Engineering, New Milford, Conn., has appointed Ing. Alberto Cuenca as regional manager for Mexico and Fred Modoyan as western regional metrology manager.

Cuenca has more than 10 years of professional experience and leadership responsibilities in electronics, semiconductors, wiring devices for the communications industry, soldering supplies, and surface-mount equipment. He has a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering and currently is working toward an M.B.A.

Modoyan's experience includes more than 15 years with measurement equipment manufacturers and as an independent engineering consultant. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and has taught computer programming and technical software programs at the college level.

Vision Engineering designs and manufactures ergonomic stereo inspection systems and noncontact measurement systems for industrial, manufacturing, and laboratory applications.
