TOX® Pressotechnik building cylinders in Illinois

TOX Pressotechnik is now manufacturing its TOX- Powerpackage line-Q cylinders at its facility in Warrenville, Ill. These cylinders are available in 11 models with pneumatic press force from 1 to 30 tons.

The cylinders are suitable for use in clinching, mounting, fastener insertion, marking, pressing, squeezing, riveting, pressing, welding, piercing, edging, bending, testing, and peening applications.

They are offered in two versions. Q-S is the inline version from 1 to 30 tons with total stroke of 3.94 in., and Q-K is the compact side-by-side version from 1 to 15 tons with 7.87 in. of total stroke.

Patented power bypass protects the oil system from negative pressure, which can be generated in applications such as punching and shearing or high cycle speeds.
