Jet Edge installs waterjet system at Murrco Fabrication
Jet Edge Inc., St. Michael, Minn., has installed a precision CNC waterjet cutting system at Murrco Fabrication Inc., a Franklin, Tenn.-based provider of metal fabrication services and manufacturer of competition tool carts for auto racing teams.
Powered by a Jet Edge iP55-50C intensifier pump, the 5- by 13-ft. midrail gantry waterjet system can cut parts from almost any material. It is fitted with IGEMS waterjet software for CAD/CAM and nesting. In addition, Murrco is using dtiCORE™ diamond orifices and diamond guard filters from Diamond Technology Innovations.
