Permanent lifting magnets lift both thin, thick materials

Alfra has introduced permanent lifting magnets for thin and thick materials. One magnet can lift materials as thin as 20 ga. or 2 in. The lever-actuated, nonelectric magnets are small and lightweight.

The TML250 lifts up to 500 lbs., and the TML500 lifts up to 1,100 lbs. They offer the highest shear lift capacity in the industry, according to the manufacturer, able to lift heavy materials into a vertical position.

The magnets are suitable for steel service centers removing sheet steel from racks and lifting I-beam steel with thin wall channels. They also can be used to pull deformed steel plate into alignment for butt welding.
