Microwelding machine offers seam welding mode
Sunstone Eng. has unveiled the Orion 200i2 micropulse arc welding machine. The all-in-one head contains the welding unit and touchscreen user interface, mounted on a single-point-attached articulating swing arm.
Features include an all-in-one arm-mounted welding unit; welding waveforms that emulate laser welding; and seam mode, which produces up to 30 welds/sec.
User-based custom settings can be saved and loaded. Screen-based feedback is provided for default metal, advanced control, and tack welding modes. The touch-control dial with number pad option sets weld power levels from 0.01 to 200 joules.
