System designed for vertical welding

The Ransome vertical welding system from Koike Aronson Inc. delivers vertical up or down welding for GMAW and FCAW processes.
The adjustable frame holds plates from 6 to 10 ft. tall, in thicknesses from 3/8 to 2 in.; tank diameters are unlimited. The unit's bidirectional, controlled speed is capable of high deposition rates and X-ray-quality welds. All welding equipment, including power source and gas cylinder, attaches to the unit's column.
Weld joints can be single bevel, double bevel, or butt. A rack-and-pinion drive provides positive vertical motion. Lateral travel from joint to joint can be manual or powered.
