Sensor measures profile angle within die cavity

Gasparini offers the GPS4, a sensor embedded into the press brake die that measures the profile angle within the die cavity mechanically. It is designed to combat problems with springback.

The sensor allows the bending of complex shapes with Z-bends or with narrow flanges. Surface finish has no influence on the sensor’s effectiveness. The operator does not need to know thickness, length, material, or bending force.
