Resistance welding electrodes cast with copper in vacuum - TheFabricator.com

Plansee USA LLC offers tungsten-lanthanum and TZM resistance welding electrodes that are cast with copper in a vacuum, rather than manufactured with soldering processes. Molten copper completely encloses the electrode, creating a seamless joint between the two materials.

According to the company, the welding parameters remain constant whenever an electrode is replaced and service life is increased.
