Automated laser system offers small footprint

Mazak Optonics Corp. has introduced the new Quick Cell 3015 compact, high-speed laser automation system. It offers unattended operation and a small footprint for facilities with limited floor space. The load and unload pallets are stacked, allowing for efficient use of factory floor space.

Each load and unload unit has a separate drive system instead of being combined. As a result, the high-speed operation time is less than 60 sec. for materials 0.47 in. and thinner. The stocker can be expanded to 6, 10, or 14 levels after the standard base system is installed.
