Hydraulic press brakes introduced

LVD Strippit has introduced the PPED series of hydraulic press brakes. They feature a multiaxis backgauge, CNC crowning system, and a 15-in. version of the manufacturer’s Touch-B graphical icon-driven CNC.
The press brakes, which offer rigid construction and servo-controlled hydraulic systems, are suitable for a variety of bending jobs. Three models are available with two or four standard backgauge axes.
The multiaxis backgauge helps reduce machine setup time for simple and complex bending jobs. The touchscreen CNC helps minimize operator input for creating 2-D and 3-D designs and simplifies part programming. The operator enters dimensions into the controller or recalls the part program from storage. Users also can work with standard and custom parametric programs for rapid programming.
The PPED-7 model is equipped with a crowning system as standard. The operator enters sheet thickness, bend length, punch radius, die opening, and material data into the CNC to determine the amount of crowning required to compensate for bed and ram deflection.
