Ceramic-oxide grinding wheels offer hardness grade Q
Pferd Inc. has introduced depressed-center grinding wheels featuring a ceramic oxide grain for working with steel and stainless steel. CO 24 Q SG wheels, which have a hardness grade Q, are designed for applications such as weld grinding, chamfering, deburring, and surface grinding.
The wheels achieve optimal results on high-powered angle grinders, the manufacturer reports. Sizes are from 4.5 in. dia. by ¼ in. thick (13,300 maximum RPM) to 9 in. dia. by ¼ in. thick (6,600 maximum RPM).
