Extended nose grinder finishes, polishes hard-to-access fillet welds

Metabo Corp. offers the KNSE 12-150 fillet weld grinder for finishing metals, including stainless steel. The extended-nose grinder is used for finishing and polishing hard-to-access fillet welds typically found on handrails and inside welds on enclosed areas.

The 6.6-lb. unit has a flat design. Standard features include double gear reduction, a winding protection grid, autostop carbon brushes, and thumbwheel for speed preselect. The Vario Tacho Constamatic (VTC) full-wave electronic speed control feature keeps the tool’s speed nearly constant under any load.

Safety features include an electronic soft-start, a toolless adjustment for the grinder’s protective cover, overload protection, and a power-interruption protection.
