Finishing gel designed for large parts

Antiquing gels from Birchwood Casey provide large-part finishing of metal components, including copper, brass, and bronze, without running or dripping.

The gel is available in three types: PRESTO BLACK® gel for blacking iron and steelwork; ANTIQUE BLACK® for blacking copper, brass, and bronze; and ANTIQUE BROWN® for brown tones on copper, brass, and bronze.

Its slow reaction rate allows for simplified covering of the surface while staying in control of the operation. The gel is thick enough to cling to vertical surfaces.
