Flap wheels designed for consistent cutting, finishing

Even Cut Abrasive Co. offers balanced flap wheels designed to produce consistent cuts and finishes.

Radially mounted around a metal shank or hub, the wheels are suitable for contouring, blending, finishing, deburring, and polishing both ferrous and nonferrous metals. Smaller, shank-mounted wheels also can be used for cleaning and deburring inside hole diameters.

Manufactured from aluminum oxide resin bond abrasive, the wheels for hand-held power tool applications are supplied with 1/8-in. or 1/4-in. straight round shanks or with 1/4-20 quick-change threaded shanks. Wheels with metal hubs are for spindle mounting on stationary machines.

Shank-mounted wheels are available in 3/8-in. to 3-in. diameters and 3/8-in. to 2-in. widths. Threaded shanks have diameters from 1 in. to 3 in. and widths of 1/2 in. to 2 in. Wheels with metal hubs have diameters of 3-1/2 in. to 10 in. and widths of 1 in. to 3 in. Grit sizes are from 40 to 320.
