High-gloss coatings withstand heat to 500 degrees F
Dampney Co. Inc.'s Thurmalox® 8800 series heat-resistant, high-gloss coatings provide a decorative, porcelain-like finish on metal surfaces that withstands heat to 500 degrees F. Developed for single-coat application in OEM production lines, the silicone-based, VOC-compliant baking enamel is available in custom colors with variable gloss levels.
Suitable for application by conventional, HVLP, or electrostatic spray methods, the coatings retain their gloss and color and resist cracking, peeling, chipping, and flaking, according to the company. Applications include pumps, valves, lighting equipment, space heaters, and hearth accessories.
The coatings are available in 55-gal. drums, 5-gal. pails, and 1-gal. cans.
