The Kalamazoo Industries model S272V multipurpose belt grinder is designed for grinding, shaping, contouring, flat work, angles, snagging, and roughing in small or short-run die casting facilities. This makes it suitable for small, intricate parts.

The grinder features a 2- by 72-in. belt, 1.5- and 3-in quick-change contact wheels as standard; a multiposition platen that rotates 360 degrees for flat-surface work; and a 1-HP, 3,450-RPM motor producing 5,400 SFPM. Options include 5- and 8-in.-dia. contact wheels, 8- by 5-in. tilting cast-iron table with slot, steel stand legs, DCV-6 dust collector base, and a variable-speed motor.
