Radial-shape flap disk recommended for angle grinders with at least 1,200 W output
The POLIFAN® Curve SG-Plus flap disk from PFERD INC. precision-grinds fillet welds on steel and stainless steel workpieces. The radial shape allows for aggressive grinding with the bottom and edge of the flap disk, as well as the top edge.
The disk, recommended for use with high-powered angle grinders having a minimum output of 1,200 W, is suitable for deburring, chamfering, and grinding.
A 9/16-in.-wide disk is available for fillet welds up to 1/8 in. wide; a 5/8-in.-wide disk handles weld widths up to 5/16 in. The unthreaded arbor hole version has a 7/8-in. bore, and the threaded version has a 5/8-11 thread. All work at a maximum speed of 12,200 RPM.
